County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works-Fire Station #150 -Santa Clarita, CA

This project consisted of a one story 19,000 sq. ft. of a fire station in Santa Clarita.  With many individual HVAC systems and no BAS system, our responsibility was to provide enhanced commissioning for this project that was to be LEED Silver Certified.  We provided mechanical and electrical peer review to ensure that the design, operational intent and OPR of the system are well documented.  NBA Engineering provided commissioning plans and specifications, pre-functional test and functional test procedures.  NBA will attend and schedule actual tests for AC units, the hot water system, building power, fail test, etc.  NBA will participate in post occupancy phase by reviewing systems manual and verifying the completion of operating personnel training.
